Seeking Farm/Ranch Land

Details

Hello. I am a conservation biologist and my partner is an organic grower. We are seeking land in southern New Mexico for regenerative agriculture. We hope to produce native seed for restoration efforts as well as drought tolerant crop seeds. We envision an agro-forestry system in which we would produce an assortment of desert adapted fruit while creating an understory of native forbs for happy pollinators, and native grasses for soil conservation. We do not have financial means to acquire land in a conventional fashion, especially with the high cost of irrigable land here in southern NM. We hope someone out there with land access will appreciate our vision of land stewardship and desert appropriate production.
